A new year, a mad bot! Alexa hasn’t quite gotten over having her Christmas present taken away from her. Just when mum thought she could enjoy some time visiting with neighbors, Alexa decides it’s time to bring out the forbidden Christmas present and go for a spin: what could possibly go wrong? It’s that time of year when all the good little birdies & bots prepare their Christmas letters and wish lists for Santa. And oh yes, Morty has been busy finalizing his wish list and eavesdropping on those of his botmates.

Most gardens are quiet spaces where birds flutter about and the flowers grow in beautiful silence… this is not the case in Morty’s mum’s garden it seems.
Besieged by plant marauders and flying monsters, Alexa and Roomba attempt another garden battle with some mischievous critters.

Morty’s Christmas was a success – mostly. He was of course showered with toys from Santa Claws, and his two sidekicks also received cool presents from the jolly fellow.
However, Morty is dismayed with one of his roommate’s Christmas haul – and her subsequent experimentation with her new ‘toy’.

Dear Santa Claws… Claus…
Poor Santa, he has his hands full this year with the Christmas wishes from Alexa, Morty and Roomba as there appears to be some ‘issues’ ruffling a few wires and feathers between them!
The December edition of Beneath the Cage Grate finds Alexa, Morty and Roomba once again at odds, with their respective Letters to Santa reflecting quite the tryst – and the lengths each will go to spoil each other’s Christmas celebrations.
It’s also fair to say that Morty’s mom may want to read what her housemates have requested from Santa, before Christmas day arrives, to perhaps avoid the beginnings of a new, chaotic tradition!
Twas the day after Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring because of that runaway Roomba Alexa gave mother for Christmas! Honestly, I could just spit seeds! Just when you thought it was safe to take a stroll around the apartment, that ditzy Alexa strikes again!

In the October edition, Morty has been called upon to provide advice to a distraught apartment dweller whose birdie companions are becoming too noisy for the neighbors. This parront is desperate for a soundproofing solution to her problem. Morty may have just the answer – but, there are a few bugs to be worked out first. As a side note, Morty’s dealing with his own issues regarding noise and remote controls (and Alexa) that are making him rather cranky.
