In this month’s Beneath The Cage Grate edition, Morty crafts a mischievous response to South Carolina’ pals Zack and Bubbles in their plea for help dealing with their own out-of-control artificial intelligence issues.
We all know Morty’s recent ‘issues’ with Alexa, so it’s not hard to imagine some of the quirky tips he’s going to pass on to Zack and Bubbles.
Check out the March issue of Beneath The Cage Grate here.
The February 2020 edition of Beneath The Cage Grate is yet another laugh-out-loud hootenanny. In this issue, we find our favorite feathered sleuth on a mission to find out why his mum is raving about her new toaster – and a very expensive loaf of bread.
Drama is never far removed when Morty is zeroing in on something, and the case of his missing toast is yet another dramatic event
Catch up with Morty here to find how his latest adventure with the new toaster and pricey loaf of bread will become yet another Morty classic!
Dear Santa Claws… Claus…
Poor Santa, he has his hands full this year with the Christmas wishes from Alexa, Morty and Roomba as there appears to be some ‘issues’ ruffling a few wires and feathers between them!
The December edition of Beneath the Cage Grate finds Alexa, Morty and Roomba once again at odds, with their respective Letters to Santa reflecting quite the tryst – and the lengths each will go to spoil each other’s Christmas celebrations.
It’s also fair to say that Morty’s mom may want to read what her housemates have requested from Santa, before Christmas day arrives, to perhaps avoid the beginnings of a new, chaotic tradition!
What do you get when you put Alexa and Morty in the kitchen for Thanksgiving Dinner preparation? You get fire and one lousy, burnt drumstick that’s what!
Head on over to the November edition of Beneath the Cage Grate for some laughs, and a few timely tips on how NOT to cook your Thanksgiving turkey… or other fowl!
In the October (Halloween) edition of Beneath the Cage Grate, we find Morty, Alexa and Roomba donning costumes and setting out on their Trick or Treat adventure in their apartment building.
Now, you’d think these three would be welcomed at each door with a chuckle and a shower of candy, right? Alas, as you’d expect, things go a bit sideways, and we find all three little ghouls scooting home in haste, quick to escape some rather weird and spooky encounters.
Be prepared to be scared – silly – in Morty’s Halloween column! BOO
In the September edition of Beneath The Cage Grate, Morty enlists Alexa and Roomba in an effort to do something nice for mum as she continues on her recovery journey from recent surgery.
The plan, whilst well thought out and brilliant, hits a few (predictable?) snags, with Morty left to once again ponder his relationship with technology… and tomatoes.
Don’t miss Morty’s latest comedic take on life with Alexa and sidekick Roomba. Head on over to Morty’s page now for some Sunday afternoon chuckles!
It’s a wonderful day in the neighborhood and Morty is in hot water yet again.
After refusing mom’s prompting to learn to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ – and his impromptu, naughty back turn on mom – Morty enlists the mischievous Alexa to help him mend fences with mom by weeding her garden.
What could possibly go wrong: A LOT!
Head over to the July issue of Beneath The Cage Grate and read about the trouble and chaos this dynamic duo cause in mom’s garden and in the shared greenhouses nearby. You’ll look at flowers in a whole new way after reading Morty’s latest garden misadventure!
The other day I was talking with Alexa and I asked her if she might give me some suggestions for a hobby I might pursue. We came to an agreement that bird watching might be a good hobby for me. I could exit right out my window and glide down to the ground below. Alexa could roll out the window and bounce as she hits the ground. We could go bird watching together…- Morty
What could possibly go wrong with these two on a field trip? Well, you guessed it, things go hysterically sideways!
Read Morty’s June Beneath the Cage Grate submission to find out how he and Alexa ‘disagree’ on bird watching etiquette!
