How could anybirdie be illegal anywhere in the US – or for that matter anywhere in the world? Well, it seems the Moncks Parakeet (a.k.a. Quaker) holds that particular moniker in several US states as well as being deemed a nuisance in countries such as Spain.

Sherri’s August edition of Feathered Frenzy offers a detailed overview of why the Quaker has gained a poor reputation among some regulators, and why some of the negative hype is unfair.
