What do you get when you give a wacky Alexa Red Bull? Mayhem!
Catch up with Morty here to find out what transpired when Alexa decided to chug a few Red Bull and then enlist her bot buds in some neighborhood shenanigans.

The age-old question arose at Morty’s house over Easter: who, and what, is the Easter Bunny?
The resident bots have their opinion, Morty on the other hand has a whole different perspective!
Catch up with Morty and the Easter Bunny here and decide for yourself the identity of the holiday’s unofficial chocolate-delivery mascot!

Morty isn’t easily fooled, so this time he really thought that Alexa was trying to make amends for all the crazy bot antics she’s pulled on him recently.
But alas, this month’s edition of Beneath the Cage Grate finds Morty – and mum, miffed at Alexa’s latest stunt.
Never trust a bot bearing gifts!

Sometimes, you have to go undercover to carry out a successful recognizance mission. This is just what Morty did in order to find out what Alexa and the bots were conspiring at their top secret Bot Convention.
In the March ’23 edition of Beneath the Cage Grate, Morty finds out more than he wants to know about his botmates, find out what happens and who Alexa has in her sights!

In his February ’23 Beneath the Cage Grate column, Morty finds himself enjoying new-found delights in a new seed mix while trying to figure out why older Village birdie neighbors are so darn grumpy. But, there’s a new birdie in town and Morty has some insights on his new neighbor!
The bots are (again) up to no good and Morty is trying to get invite to the upcoming BOTT convention!
Catch up with Morty for the whole scoop!

Games can be fun, especially during long winter nights. Add Alexa and some guest bots to a game of Hide ‘n Seek though and you have the ingredients for mischief… and (short-lived) birdie jail time…
Morty’s January ’23 Beneath the Cage Grate column will leave you laughing and worrying for our poor Morty, fooled again by his bot nemesis Alexa!
Happy New Year Everybirdie!

Poor Morty’s mum, she was anticipating savoring the enjoyment of a Thanksgiving takeout dinner, brought right to the door, no fuss, no muss. Well, let’s just say that didn’t transpire – for Morty’s mum anyway.
Head on over to Morty’s column to find out where – and who, enjoyed the turkey and mashed potatoes and who ended up locked up (but with a full tummy)!

Uh oh, just when Morty was minding his own business (mostly because he was put ‘in birdie jail…), an eight-legged interloper showed up on HIS spot on the windowsill. GASP!
The November issue of Beneath the Cage Grate may send shivers up some birdie feathers, but have no fear, Morty’s tale ends triumphantly – for both he and mum!

Oh dear, poor Morty’s mum has a bonsai heist (and sale) going on right under her own nose. Morty has designs on ‘his’ windowsill and he’s prepared to go to great lengths to secure it!
Catch up with Morty here to find out how his planned sale of mum’s bonsai trees goes spectacularly sideways!
