My Ears, My Ears: Beneath the Cage Grate

Let’s face it, some of us just can’t sing. I know I can’t. Well, Morty wants to share his assessment of Alexa’s ‘screeching’ talent in his June ’22 issue of Beneath the Cage Grate. It seems even bots can have delusions of grandeur and over-rated skill. Maybe it was the pizza, or maybe it was Roomba cheering her on. Whatever the motivation, everyone will appreciate Morty’s take on Alexa’s ill-fated attempt to join the choir.

Toys: Feathered Frenzy

Toys, toys, toys, how many toys can a birdie have? Many! Sherri’s June ’22 edition of Feathered Frenzy is a fun and informative discussion about the different types of toys available and how different parrots prefer different toys for all sorts of reasons.

A great read for all birdie parronts! Leave a comment for Sherri about the types of toys your birdie enjoys playing with – or preening!

Nicknames: Feathered Frenzy

What’s in a name you ask? Well, it’s harder to answer that question when it comes to nicknames because nicknames – whether given to humans or birdies, speak to individual personality and ‘quirkiness’.

Sherri’s May ’22 Feathered Frenzy article tells us how cuddly Zack and spunky Bubbles gained their nicknames!

What’s In a Name: Feathered Frenzy

How did you decide your bird’s name?

The fact that our feathered friend may live for decades means, parronts should pick something that we and they can live with for a long time.

Read Sherri’s April issue of Feathered Frenzy and find out how she and Rick came up with Zack and Bubbles.

Roomba 1 – Alexa, Egged: Beneath the Cage Grate

Easter egg hunts are usually lots of fun, but for Roomba and Alexa, their recent Easter egg hunt resulted in a chain of events that left egg on Alexa’s face, and poor Roomba scrambled. Morty tags along (towards the end of this tale) and is rewarded for being the wise parrot that he is – and for avoiding a major brush up with property residents! Find out how this eventful Easter egg hunt unfolded here.
